Basically it was interviewing Caprice Young of LAUSD and a member of the LA Conservancy. The piece was about 10 minutes long and nothing new was stated that we haven't already heard so I won't give too many boring details. In short LA Conservancy thinks it will be just peachy to turn the Hotel into a school and wont that enrich the schoolchildren and Caprice Young who is a fifth generation Angelino as she so proudly states, wants the hotel torn down because too many surprises are usually found in a historic reuse project for buildings and thinks it will be too expensive in the long run and wishes to have the hotel torn down and the lot subdivided. The piece unfortunately had no one talking about saving the hotel as a hotel and re-opening it.
