Just one question:
How do you get a tour of the building. On my first visit
to the property (still under Trump ownership) was the
fact that I could not see it. They told me I was
welcome to look through the fence or stand in the parking
lot! On my second visit (October 2001), I made it through
the gate because no guards were present, and I walked up
around the entrance to the Cocoanut Grove...when I reached
the area of the covered walkway (going to the Bungalows) a
not-very-aggressive dog greeted me; and an appologetic
security person very politely told me that I had to leave
or he would loose his job!
I have a feeling that the vistors to the Ambassdor are there
more for photo opportunities and what they can see through the
windows, than they are about vandalism. The photo's I have
seen of the exterior do not seem to show any broken windows.
If you would, let me know how you got inside the building.
